BHT (Body Hair Transplant) lets us harvest the hair from the beard, chest, groin, legs, etc. This technique is used when there is insufficient donor supply on the back of the head. Actually, BHT is the same as FUE but is performed in various other areas of the body. We have been using the BHT technique in our practice since 2003, and it allows us to obtain several thousand extra grafts to restore a high degree of hair loss and depletion of the donor area. The BHT technique can be used by itself, or in combination with FUT and FUE. This technique allows us to expand the scope of hair transplantation.
